What is the Functional Medicine Option for Chris Knox, PA-C, for HIPnation Members?
Atlanta, GA—Function medicine is an approach to healthcare that helps patients to understand the root cause of their symptoms. Patients and providers work together to create individualized comprehensive treatment plans to address the underlying cause of disease. Lifestyle changes, diet and nutrition, stress management/self care, mindfulness, therapeutic movement/exercise, and where appropriate, supplements and/or pharmaceuticals can be aspects of each patient’s treatment plan. Providers utilize training and experience in allopathic medicine and incorporate evidence-based functional medicine evaluation and treatment.
HIPnation’s Chris Knox, PA-C practices functional medicine. Your HIPnation membership includes direct contact with her, an annual physical with routine blood work, preventive care, sick visits, and access via phone, secure text, and telemedicine.
She is offering HIPnation patients only an additional Functional Medicine membership at a discounted rate of $50 a month. If you select Chris as your Primary Care Physician, you can add this portion of care by contacting her office at 404-895-2479.
In 2016 Chris completed Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice training through the Institute for Functional Medicine, and since then she has been working toward completion of certification in functional medicine.
