Dr. Qazi comes from a family of physicians. Her passion to serve the community was taught to her by her family. Her father, being a diabetic, was the start of her journey to become a physician. Throughout the care of her father, she excelled in learning everything about diabetes and educated others along the way. She is a graduate of D Y Patil Medical College and she completed her internship at King Edward Memorial (KEM) hospital in Mumbai, India. Her journey then brought her to the United States, completing an internship at Northshore Forest Hills hospital in New York. She then completed her family medicine residency at Emory in 2008.
After completing her residency, she joined the Veteran Affairs (VA) hospital where she worked for ten years. She gathered experience working at Grady Hospital, Emory Johns Creek, Gwinnett Hospital, and Wellstreet Urgent Care by Piedmont.
Her area of interest and expertise include diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, degenerative joint diseases, asthma, and COPD.
Dr. Qazi sees patients ages 18 – 65.
Dr. Qazi will begin seeing HIPnation members on August 1, 2019.
