Profile
Carrie Anderson, MD is a board-certified family physician with 24+ years of experience treating all age groups. She began her career as an associate director of a family medicine program in Indianapolis, IN after graduating from Indiana University School of Medicine. She remained very busy for 19 years teaching, training students and residents, and practicing all aspects of inpatient and outpatient care. She dedicated 3 years to the role of Program Director at the same residency program, then for family reasons, moved to the Florida panhandle.
Dr. Anderson quickly decided to become her own "boss" and begin her career in direct
primary care. This has allowed her to incorporate the most important tenets of
healthcare into her practice: healthy lifestyle habits, exercise and diet, early detection
through evidence-based screening, and cost-effective medical decision-making. By
moving away from fee-for-service insurance she is able to offer many cost-saving approaches to her patients. Dr. Anderson enjoys helping patients with weight management, chronic disease reversal, mental health conditions, acute conditions, and so
much more.
Dr. Anderson sees patients birth and up.
