Atlanta, GA–HIPnation welcomed Dr. Leah Tobin to our Sandy Springs office in December 2021.
Dr. Tobin is board-certified in family medicine. After graduating from the College of William and Mary, she earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Memory Medical Center in Savannah, GA.
Dr. Tobin is active in the community holding positions in the Medical Association of Atlanta and the Medical Association of Georgia. She sits on the Board of Directors of an Atlanta area hospital. She also actively participates in several charities, including the Trot to Clot (hemophilia) and The Donald B Tobin Fund (pulmonary fibrosis).
Dr. Tobin enjoys teaching medical students and residents and serves as an associate clinical professor for Mercer’s School of Medicine Department of Community Medicine. Dr. Tobin was selected as a Top Doctor by Atlanta Magazine & Castle Connolly in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. She has received multiple other awards including America’s Best Physicians from the National Consumer Advisory Board (annually since 2015), Exceptional Women in Medicine (2018), Vitals People’s Choice Award (2019), and Americas Most Honored Professionals (2019).
When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also has a passion for cooking, gardening, traveling, playing golf, and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Tobin sees patients 10 and older.
