Dr. Barnes has cared for patients of all ages with both acute and chronic medical conditions. In August, he started his own practice in downtown Cartersville. Georgia Direct Family Care will be family medicine the old fashioned way with extended visits, same day appointments and home visits when needed.
Alan and his wife, Carrie, have been married since 2014. They live in Cartersville, in the house that Alan grew up in. In 2018, they welcomed their daughter Lilly. Alan and Carrie are members of Sam Jones United Methodist Church in Cartersville. In his spare time, Alan loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, volunteer with the Cartersville High School athletic program, and play golf.
