Heather Bean, CPNP

Heather Bean is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She graduated summa cum laude from the Medical College of Georgia in 1996. She attended Emory University as a Woodruff scholar, earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2001, and became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Before joining Children’s Wellness Center, Heather was a nurse practitioner for 11 years at WellStar in Cobb County. She and Dr. Segal worked for many years together when Dr. Segal was employed at WellStar. She also brings tremendous newborn expertise from her experience at Rainbow Babies and Children’s hospital as nurse practitioner in the well-baby nursery while living in Cleveland. She has served as adjunct lecturer at Emory University and clinical preceptor of their pediatric nurse practitioner graduate students. Heather is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, as well as, the Georgia Chapter.

In addition to spending time with her husband and children at home in Sandy Springs, Heather devotes her time to family centered care, adolescent medicine, and providing quality medical care for your children.
